JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITY

Working in collaboration with other members of the technical and field staff, to Provide recreational/psycho-social and educational activities in the comfortable and secure environment to Syrian children who are out of school

Lay out a clear plan to achieve outputs and outcomes in accordance with the goal and objective of the project Prepare appropriate daily/weekly/monthly plans according to the outputs to ensure that the overall project timeline is realistic and achievable within the agreed timeframe
Make adjustments to the plan and schedule as needed during implementation
Select and/or innovate creative program and materials of recreational/psychosocial activities contributing to children’s cognitive/physical development, social participation, and mental health
Plan open program to encourage children’s families and neighbors in the host community to join the activity.
Facilitate and/or lead assessment/implementation/monitoring/evaluation design

Provide recreational/psychosocial activities and appropriate materials with repetitive/regular assessment on child development, social dynamics and security condition
Provide a person-focused activity to vulnerable children in special needs considering developmental and/or psychological disorders
Establish and maintain the connection and active working relationship with I/NGOs
and Turkish government units to improve the accessibility for the children to other protective supports
Flexibly respond to unexpected conditions and maintain the safety in the field
Positively attend training on Child Protection in Emergencies (CPiE), Child Protection in Humanitarian Action (CPMS), Psychological First Aid (PFA), and Inter-Agency Network for Education (INEE) and other appropriate training to enhance performance in the project
Provide regular updates on progress, priorities, and constraints and assist with administrative duties related to the running of the project
Produce and submit daily, monthly, mid-term and final reports on project activities as required and manage project documentation as required
Report any problems in implementation to other officers in a timely manner so appropriate action can be taken.
[Monitoring/Evaluation]
Introduce and/or invent appropriate monitoring and evaluation tools
Regularly monitor the feedback and collect information from the children, their families, the host community and other stakeholders by hearing and observation applying monitoring materials
Evaluate and analyze the project quantitatively and qualitatively to improve the project
Support other members of the team as well as in the Food Security team when it is necessary
Assist in office activities when it’s necessary
